Dr David Rodriguez Alfonso leads the department with a Certificate in Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Surgery from The University of Extramural Studies and the Minimally Invasive Surgery Centre.
Laparoscopic surgery has many benefits but the main being reduction in post operative pain, a lower risk of surgical complications, a lower risk of post operative bleeding and a faster recovery time.
