Our Vets

Pete obtained a degree in Animal Science from the University of Nottingham in 2001 and then went on to the University of Glasgow where he qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2005. He then worked as a mixed animal Vet in the Whitby area for 3 years treating all kind of animals, great and small.

In 2008, Pete travelled to South Africa, where he worked as a game capture Vet, relocating rhino, giraffes, buffalo and many types of antelope for conservation and breeding programs. In 2009, he returned to Lincolnshire and started to locum for local practices, providing their holiday cover.

In early 2010, Pete spent 6 weeks volunteering as a Veterinary Surgeon on the island of Java in Indonesia, where he carried out dentistry on the critically endangered slow loris, so they could be rehabilitated and released back in to the Java rainforest. In September 2010, Pete undertook a year long multi-discipline small animal internship at Willows Referral in Solihull. In October 2010, Pete then returned to Lincolnshire locuming and then in 2011 took up a permanent Vet position at a well regarded local practice.

Phillip graduated from the University of Zimbabwe in 2005. He immediately took up a residency programme in the faculty of Veterinary Science where he developed his clinical knowledge and also helped mentor and examine veterinary students in their final year.

Phillip came to the United Kingdom in 2007 where he sat the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons statutory examination and was duly registered as a practising Veterinary Surgeon in the UK in June of the same year. He then joined a small animal veterinary practice in South Yorkshire where he was part of a successful, forward thinking team for 2 years.

In 2010, Phillip join a progressive small animal practice in the local area. He completed a 3 year post graduate programme through the University of Nottingham in small animal orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery in 2016, which has helped reinforce his knowledge and ability to perform complex and specialised surgical procedures.

Hi, I’m Cat, one of the Veterinary Surgeons here at Wolds. I graduated from the University of Nottingham in July 2025 and joined the Wolds team in October.

I’m originally from just outside of Brighton, so it’s been a big change moving all the way up to North Lincolnshire, but I couldn’t resist joining such a welcoming and supportive team!

I enjoy all parts of small animal practice, but I do have a specific interest in small mammals such as rats and mice after I kept some mice as pets during university- at one point I had 15!

Outside of work I enjoy bouldering, painting, and rock music. I play guitar and am currently learning the bass. I used to perform at festivals and open-mic events so I’m hoping to find something similar here, too.

Steph graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London in July 2020 and began working at Wolds during the covid-19 pandemic. After spending so long in London she was keen to get back to the Lincolnshire countryside where she grew up to be closer to family and the friendly locals!

During her studies she spent lots of time undertaking clinical experience at various different practices throughout the UK, but jumped at the opportunity to join the team at Wolds!

Steph has a special interest in small mammals and exotics, particularly in rabbit medicine and working with owners to ensure we  provide the best husbandry practices for even the smallest members of their family.

Outside of work, Steph enjoys spending time with her dog and two very cheeky rabbits, Rupert and Juniper, who always keep her occupied and seeing friends and family and travelling.

The thing Steph most enjoys about working at Wolds is being part of the fantastic team.

Nicole studied at the Royal Veterinary College in London and graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon in July 2021.

Nicole is originally from the Midlands but has many friends situated up here in Grimsby/Cleethorpes and loves the area so when she was offered a job here at Wolds she couldn’t say no!

Nicole has a special interest in Ophthalmology in all species and is looking forward to seeing cases and gaining more experience in this area.

Nicole also love all things small mammal, in particular rabbit and rodent medicine and hopes to work with owners to ensure we give the best housing, nutrition and treatment to these little guys.

Outside of work Nicole enjoys spending time with her two very cheeky rabbits, Violet and Henny and six rats as well as bird watching and reading.

What Nicole enjoys most about working at Wolds is being part of the fantastic team.

Megan graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London in July 2022 and is very excited to be finally working as a Vet in practice.

Megan is from the Grimsby area so spent lots of time on University placement at Wolds and was absolutely delighted when asked to join our team!

Megan is very enthusiastic to continue to gain lots of knowledge and experience in all areas of veterinary medicine. She has a special interest in emergency and critical care and looks forward to helping all species of animals when they’re in their most vulnerable moments.

Outside of work, Megan loves to walk her dogs in the Lincolnshire countryside and along the beaches. She is also hoping to start horse riding again as has always owned and competed with horses before leaving for University.

The thing she loves most about working at Wolds is being part of the Wolds family where everyone is constantly going above and beyond to support each other, the pets in our care and our clients.

Hi everyone my name is Tatenda Mus,  I am a Veterinary Surgeon here at Wolds Veterinary Clinic

I’m so happy to be part of the lovely Wolds team as a Veterinary Surgeon. I Graduated in the year 2022 from the University of Zimbabwe. Had a year long residency at the faculty of Veterinary Sciences Teaching Hospital in Harare, focusing more on surgery and also as a teaching assistant, tutoring the 4th and 5th year veterinary students.

I initially Joined Wolds Vets in April 2024 as a Veterinary assistant awaiting to sit for my conversion RCVS exams.

I am living the dream now as I am able to work as a UK vet from December, working as part of the vets team here.

My area of interest has always been surgery, both soft tissue and orthopaedics. I would really love to advance my career in this field. Spare time I love travelling, spending time with family and friends out in the countryside and a little bit of global news.

Hi, I’m Daniel and I’m a Veterinary Surgeon here at Wolds Veterinary Clinic.

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) in London in 2024 and joined the Wolds team in February this year. I am from Lincolnshire and grew up in the Lincoln area.

I am really pleased to have been given the opportunity to join the team at Wolds as their RWAF rabbit friendly silver accreditation and ISFM cat friendly gold accreditation status is very important to me. I am proud to be signed up as one of the practice’s cat advocates and I’m looking forward to going to the ISFM feline medicine conference in June this year.

I have a particular soft spot for greyhounds, lurchers and dachshunds! I don’t have any pets of my own yet but I am an uncle to a three legged cat, called Kiwi who lost his leg after a traffic accident.

Outside of work I enjoy reading, walking and tabletop role playing games!
